LQ4 378ci 6.2L - NA Series

The LQ4, part of our NA series, is a generation 3 iron block. Originally, the LQ4 comes with a 4-inch bore, but we can bore out the cylinders to a 4.065-inch bore making the LQ4 a 6.2L. This engine configuration is aimed towards NA applications and vehicles that won't mind the extra weight of the iron block. We use flat top pistons to slightly increase the compression ratio. We ship this engine with a hot cam, and stronger valve springs.

Additionally, there is a LQ4 we offer that is better suited for boost. We offer it in a "sloppy build" configuration that uses OEM spec internals. We also offer a forged build; crank, rods, and pistons LQ4 for high boost applications. Lastly, we offer a 408ci stroker application that can be assembled for boost or maximum NA efforts.
